Tengu Weapon Etchings

Looking for a semi-short, semi-easy Mastery Point for the Icebrood Saga?  This guide is a 2-parter, with the first part being the most work involved.  As long as you have access to Drizzlewood Coast, you are good to go.  Let's start!

First of all, you will need to have completed the Mysterious Journal achievement.  I don't have a guide written about that one since it's been a few years since I completed it.  If you need help with getting that one done, I have linked it in the title of Mysterious Journal above as well as a link down below in the References section.  It should take you probably 10 to 20 minutes to complete it before having access to Goro Cleverclaws.  Once you've completed it, check your in game mailbox.

Goro Cleverclaws NPC and general location

Goro Cleverclaws is located in the middle of the first part of Drizzlewood Coast (within the white zone).  Speaking to him will complete the initial step (Bird Whisperer) for Tengu Weapon Etchings, which is the first part of this Mastery Point.  Please note that this is a time-gated collection, in which you can only purchase 3 Sheets of Handmade Tengu Etching Paper, yet you need a total of 16.  Each sheet of paper costs 1 gold, so make sure you have enough!

NOTE:  I forgot to take a picture of the collection before "starting" it, so the image provided was when I realized I needed to take a picture.  Apologies!

Beginning of the Tengu Weapon Etchings collection

Just like some other guides I've made, I compiled the images with instructions in a slideshow for ease of use.

Once you've completed the final etching, the achievement is marked complete.  This concludes the first part for this Mastery Point.

Visit Goro Cleverclaws once again and you will have access to Tengu weapon blueprints.  Each one costs 35,000 karma, so hopefully you've been hoarding that away for a rainy day.  Purchasing each one, then crafting up to Tier 2 of the collection will unlock the Mastery Point.  I do suggest that you continue this collection all the way through because you gain a free 20-slot bag and the ability to craft Amalgamated Draconic Lodestones.  These are used for crafting other kinds of weapons, achievement points, and even some titles.
