Wintersday in Guild Wars

Wintersday has finally arrived!  As usual, let's go over what you can do during this festive holiday throughout Tyria, starting off with the loot.

Loot drops:

In order to get the cosmetics, you need to get your hands on a Frozen Accessory Token.  These are acquired by simply completing the quests A Humbling Gift and The Polar Depressed.  You need to find Brrrtie or Krisp in LA or Kamadan.  Remember to check both since they offer different cosmetics!


If you are looking to get your hands on a candy cane themed weapon, seek out any of the candysmiths in area.  Luckily, Candysmith Kris is right next to Brrrtie in the crafting corner of LA.  All you need is 9 candy cane shards and boom, done.  If you attend the finale each year, you get a random Wintergreen weapon in your inventory.  Be sure to attend it!

The quests in green are ones that you participate as PvP.  There is a lot to cover in these quests, so I highly recommend you check out the wiki for each one.  I included the link below.


Last thing I want to mention for this guide is to seriously be there at the end.  Better yet, be sure to stand on one of the numerous icons on the ground for either Grenth or Dwayna side.  It'll give you the guaranteed Wintergreen weapon as well as extra presents, in case you need to finish up a few achievements.
