Halloween in Guild Wars

It's that spooky time of year again in Tyria!  Halloween has come once again and there are a TON of things to get your hands on.  Let's start off with the basics: loot.  


Loot drops are as follows:

  • Pumpkin Cookie



  • Squash Serum



  • Transmogrifier Tonic



  • Trick-or-Treat Bag

If you are looking for those sweet, sweet cosmetics - Find Erulis in LA or Aahtan in Kamadan.  You will need to trade 1 Ghoulish Accessory Token in order to get the hat.  How does one get this said token?  You need to complete the Halloween quests Better You Than Me and Double Your Pleasure and RUN!.  



If a hat isn't enough, go find Gul Terror in LA or Malavaka in Kamadan in order to get the tonics.

The Costume Brawl is a pretty fun activity to do.  Talk to the Costume Brawl NPC and head over to the waiting lobby.  The wait time can vary, but rest assured you will get in for a few matches.  Depending on your profession, you will get to play as a hero or a villan from the lore that corresponds to that profession.  For example, I main a necromancer so I get to play as Eve.  The skills are all necromancer skills and you get a temporary weapon at the start of the match.  Capture and hold the various areas on the map and get to dispatching the enemy players.  First team to 20 wins.  This is also a GREAT way to farm Balthazar faction points!


If you are feeling up to it, you can try out the Challenge Mission - Scarred Psyche.  Object of the game is to kill 5 of Joko's generals in order to spawn Joko himself.  You can either hero/henchman it or team up with other players in order to tackle this mission.  Either way, you gotta kill some baddies.  Check out the wiki guide for ways at accomplishing this mission if you have some issues.
